Sarah Mitchel raised £820 for Amigos Worldwide
When Sarah signed up for the Bath Half Marathon, she’d never run further than a Park Run. Training through the winter months, she dedicated every long Sunday run to the families she’d read about through Amigos’s work in Uganda. Crossing the finish line in 2 hours 11 minutes, she burst into tears — and went straight home to check her fundraising page, which had smashed its original £400 target. “Knowing those miles meant something real for children in Uganda made every hill worth it,” she said.
