On Saturday 5 October, we will be launching our UK Toolkit in Holy Trinity Barnstaple, as a resource to help churches serve their local communities. It is packed with principles and stories from our work with Ugandan churches to help us learn.
This is for church leaders and members – anyone who has a heart to see the church playing a role in tackling the needs of their communities. Is it disaffected youth, people struggling with loneliness or families trying desperately to make ends meet? This event will look at how a church can think through the challenges it sees in its area and plan an effective response with the resources it has to help people bring real change to their lives.
The event will begin with hot drinks and pastries at 9.30am and will run until 12noon. There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions, find out more about Amigos and buy beautiful hand crafted products made on Kira Farm.
Please sign up below to join us, but if you have any questions about the Toolkit or event, please don’t hesitate to email the team via info@amigos.org.uk
