6th November 2011: Amigos would like to say a big thank you to Sam Dunbavin and Nellie Wilson for the fantastic pub quiz fundraiser held at the Coaching Inn, South Molton. 65 people turned out to support us, and together we raised £286.50! Sam was responsible for the questions, and covered various topics over the rounds; motto, sports, pot luck, geography, music and entertainment to name a few, as well as a table quiz. The latter was won by Team Bieber Fever with a very impressive 29 points. The overall winners were the Woolly Bats, who unexpectedly triumphed after refuelling during the complimentary food break! Second and third place went to Grampys gang and Supersonic Student of Socrates; scores were neck and neck at 59, 53 and 51 respectively.
The prize for the main quiz was a carvery at the Coaching Inn, and we would like to thank them, Mole Valley Farmers and Bray Leino for their generosity in prizes for the raffle, and to everyone who either donated or turned up to make this evening such a success.
