: Richer than you think? :

Are you feeling hard done by, perhaps
even a little depressed after calculating how the latest budget
cuts might affect you? – you might be richer
than you think!
: Joss Stone and Phil with KFTC students :

The Brend Group
of Hotels have run a ‘check-out for change'
scheme at their Carlyon Bay and Royal & Fortescue
Hotels for the past 4 years and raised over £30,000
to help build Kira Farm Training Centre!
If you are a business and would like to know more about
creative fund raising ideas to support the training of

: Keep
Kira Training :
We want to make sure that Kira
Farm Training Centre instructs as many
young people as possible. In July we have 36 new
residential places plus 4 day students, costing
around £950 per student, per year (that's less
than £19 a week or £2.60 per day)!
Please consider joining others who give a small amount monthly to
keep this project running.

: It's all about a lot of people doing a little!
:

Please
would you consider holding fundraising events throughout
this summer; these could be BBQs, Coffee Mornings or Cream
Teas etc.
It is amazing how a number of people, all raising a little, can dramatically
impact young vulnerable lives at KFTC in Africa.
Please keep us informed here of any events you are planning
: FSI Car Draw :

Last
year the FSI car draw raised over £72,000
for small charities. Amigos proceeds of the Draw
will be used to support students at KFTC.
Each ticket costs £2 and 95.2% of that is for our charity – so if
we sell 100 tickets that's £190.40 you've helped us raise. £190.40
means that Amigos can pay one teacher for 2 moths
to help tutor 40 students.
You can obtian tickets online, through our charity page
on the FSI website here.
