  1. • One of the most valuable ways of helping us is by giving a small amount each month. We are looking for 800 people that will give just £1 a week (+giftaid) so we can educate 40 students at Kira Farm Training Centre each year! - click here for more info



• Collect loose change
Fill an old film tub with coins, or even a mug or jar. Imagine if everyone in your school, church, club could each fill a film tub or jar with coins? Small coins can make a big difference.

• Hold an event
From a charity gig to a jumble sale, a cake sale to a pet show, there are plenty of fun ways to raise a few pounds or a few hundred pounds and we can help to make your event a success. See our events page for more idea.

• Do a sponsored event

• Buy/Sell Amigos greetings cards
View our range of Amigos greetings cards here we have a choice of either hand crafted greeting cards created by Emily Catchpool or a range of Amigos greeting cards. The sale of all of these cards will directly fund Kira Farm Training Centre, as just about everything has been donated.

• Buy/Sell/Design Amigos Christmas Cards
We have printed thousands of Amigos Christmas cards in lots different designs over many years.
Please contact us if you have designs that you think we can use or if you would like to buy/sell Christmas cards to help us raise funds.

• Sponsor something big at Kira Farm or a Well/Toilet in a rural village
This type of sponsorship is ideal for families, groups, organisations, school, churches, businesses or in rembererance of a loved one.
There is something rather nice knowing that your family, group, organisation, school church or business has achieved something really very special through fundraising or a legacy – and what could be better than having a building with your name on it or in memory of a loved one. We give you a framed photo and a full report of any project.

• Donate Items or Resources

Mobile Phones - your disused working mobile phones are most useful to us in Uganda so we can equip our returning students back in their villages on their completion at Kira Farm Training Centre.

Books - We need vocational teaching books covering a number of subjects including: Carpentry, Building, Tailoring, Gardening, Plumbing, Metalworking, Computing and First Aid. We also need picture Bible storybooks.

DVD and CD ROMs - We want to set up a film library at Kira Farm and also need Educational DVDs and CDs as teaching resources.

Computers - We need your old laptop computers for IT training at Kira Farm

CafEs and businesses

• We are looking for cafés that would be interested in placing one of our little collection boxes on each table. Kafe Karumba did this and since 2007 they have raised over £2,000

• Donations - we would be most grateful to hear from businesses or shops that can offer appropriate resources, unwanted stock, free tickets or other offers for raffles etc.

• Corporate Giving for Businesses – More and more businesses are connecting to a charity. Regularly donations or a small percentage from your business can bring great publicity and many positive benefits. Have a look at our stories from our supporter page to see what businesses are doing.
